About Diane Becker

Founder

Diane Becker has been involved in the Early Childhood Education field since 1982. Being a mother of seven children and grandmother to eight, she has developed a strong heart-felt belief that the family is foremost and plays a major role in a child’s education and development

Diane has a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with depth in Multicultural Studies. In addition, she has been trained and/or certified in the following areas:

• Child Development Program Director Permit, 7/27/07
• First Aid and CPR certified bi-annually
• Trainer Certification in Center on the Social and Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL)2010
• ECERS Training (Early Childhood Environmental Rating Scale) 2010
• PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies) Coach certification, 2010
• CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System) 2010
• Trained in Pre-K GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design) 2009

Note: Miss Diane passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2020. Miss Diane touched the lives of thousands of families in her 50 years of teaching. Our primary goal at Learning Pathways is that her legacy endures. Learning Pathways was Diane’s dream fulfilled. She provided years of intense training to our staff, passing on her incredible knowledge, wisdom and experience. We pledge to you that Miss Diane’s mission to provide a first-class education in a fun-filled environment will continue uninterrupted, as she would have wanted.
