Miss Taneko (Neko) is, simply put, an artist who absolutely fell in love with helping children learn and grow. Her love for teaching began when she became an inclusion teacher working with special needs children 10 years ago. Shortly after starting that position she decided to attend Mission College to obtain her AA in early child development and transitioned to pre school teaching. Along the way, she also earned an AA in graphic design and fine arts.
Neko is passionate about art, caring for children, and integrating her artistic talents into her teaching. We consider ourselves extremely fortunate that she has chosen to teach at Learning Pathways.
In her spare time, Miss Neko enjoys hiking and thrill seeking adventures such as sky diving and riding crazy roller coasters. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family.
